Rigetti, a quantum computing, went public via a SPAC merger with Supernova Partners Acquisition Company II, a special purpose acquisition company, in a $1.5bn deal. The PIPE transaction was subscribed to by top investors including T. Rowe Price Associates, Bessemer Venture Partners, Franklin Templeton, In-Q-Tel, Keysight Technologies, Palantir Technologies and Ampere Computing. “Today marks a key milestone for Rigetti and the quantum computing industry as a whole. We believe this transaction will help us to accelerate our momentum and make strides toward our goal of narrow Quantum Advantage.
