Nippon Paint-backed DuluxGroup completed the acquisition of Cromology from Wendel for $1.47bn.

Nippon Paint-backed DuluxGroup, a marketer and manufacturer of premium branded products, completed the acquisition of Cromology, a designer and manufacturer of paints and decorative products, from Wendel, a family-held investment company, for $1.47bn. “This step has allowed Loïc Derrien, the Group's CEO, and the entire Cromology team to achieve an exceptional job for the past 3 years. The offer from DuluxGroup should allow Cromology to continue its transformation and development," Pierre Pouletty, Cromology Chairman.
