Mondadori Group, a European publishing group, completed the acquisition of a 50% stake in Agenzia Libraria International, a publisher and distributor of books. Financial terms were not disclosed. Thanks to this acquisition, the Mondadori Group takes a further step along the path of increasing focus on the books market, through a process of vertical integration that allows the croup to strengthen its position in the promotion and distribution of third-party publishers, with a view to continually improving the service level and expanding the customer portfolio.
