Wheaton Precious Metals to lead a $50m funding in Fenix Gold Project of Rio2.

Wheaton Precious Metals, a precious metals streaming company, agreed to lead a $50m funding in Fenix Gold Project of Rio2, a mining company. “Entering into this definitive agreement with Wheaton International represents a significant milestone for Rio2 and secures the foundation of the Mine Financing Package setting the Company on a solid path for development and a fast track to production,” Jose Luis Martinez, Rio2 EVP and Chief Strategy Officer.
