MAM Asset Management, full-service asset manager, agreed to acquire a %52 stake in Alliar, a medical laboratory company, for $232m. On November 19, MAM Asset Management has proposed to buy a controlling stake in Alliar. On November 27, shareholders in Alliar accepted a takeover offer from MAM Asset Management.
