Bakelite Synthetics completed the acquisition of the chemicals business of Georgia-Pacific.

Bakelite Synthetics, a producer of thermoset specialty resins, solutions and engineered thermoset molding compounds, completed the acquisition of the chemicals business of Georgia-Pacific, a pulp and paper company. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are excited about the opportunities that will result from the combined strengths of the two companiess.
