Tiger Global and Prosus Ventures led a $40m Series B funding round in Captain Fresh, a business-to-business online marketplace for seafood, with participation from Accel India, Matrix Partners India, Ankur Capital and Incubate Fund. “We have grown by six times in the last one year and three times since our last funding round in terms of revenue and are looking to expand deeper in India. We are also looking at overseas markets now–primarily the US and Europe,” Utham Gowda, Captain Fresh Founder and CEO.
