Macquarie and Aware Super to acquire Two Degrees Group from Trilogy International Partners for $1.2bn.

Investment companies Macquarie and Aware Super agreed to acquire Two Degrees Group, a New Zealand telecommunications provider, from Trilogy International Partners, an international wireless and fixed broadband telecommunications operator, for $1.2bn. "Over the past several months we have been focused on strategic initiatives to maximize value for our stakeholders. This transaction crystalizes value for Trilogy shareholders at a valuation which reflects the remarkable accomplishments of our team in New Zealand and runway for future growth," Brad Horwitz, Trilogy President and CEO.
