Alpek, a holding company with interests in the petrochemical, plastics, and synthetic fiber industries, completed the acquisition of OCTAL, a manufacturer of polyethylene terephthalate products designed to redefine packaging applications, for $620m. “We are pleased to have concluded this acquisition ahead of the expected timeline.
