Francisco Partners-backed BARBRI completed the acquisition of West Academic Publsher from LLCP.

Francisco Partners-backed BARBRI, a company that offers legal education and bar exam preparation courses, completed the acquisition of West Academic Publsher, a company that offers a wide range of law school and practice resources, from LLCP, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We are grateful to LLCP for their partnership and guidance over the last three years. LLCP’s focus on value-added initiatives and their unwavering confidence in our management team allowed West Academic to scale and grow into the platform it is today,” Chris Parton, West Academic CEO.
