Qatar Electricity and Water to acquire the remaining 40% stake in Nebras Power from QIA for $530m.

Qatar Electricity and Water, a company engaged in the production of electricity, agreed to acquire the remaining 40% stake in Nebras Power, a power development and investment company, from Qatar Investment Authority, a sovereign wealth fund, for $530m. Nebras Power is a global investment company headquartered in Doha, Qatar that is focused on long term, sustainable investment opportunities in the energy sector. The transaction is subject to a number of conditions precedent which includes regulatory approvals and notifications from other foreign jurisdictions where Nebras is present.
