LBO France completed the acquisition of a 60% stake in Polis Fondi from a consortium of Italian banks.

LBO France, an independent private equity operator, completed the acquisition of a 60% stake in Polis Fondi SGR, an Italian asset management company, from a consortium of Italian banks including BPER Banca, Intesa Sanpaolo, Sanfelice 1893 Banca Popolare, Banca Valsabbina, Banca Popolare di Sondrio, and Unione Fiduciaria. Financial terms were not disclosed. "This acquisition aims to consolidate the future growth of Polis Fondi SGR, in particular by strengthening its pan-European strategies and its presence in the non-performing loans segment. This transaction also confirms our commitment to increase our presence in the Italian market while forging partnerships with major financial institutions in the country such as Banca Popolare di Sondrio, BPER Banca, Intesa Sanpaolo, Sanfelice 1893 Banca Popolare, Banca Valsabbina and Unione Fiduciaria, which remain shareholders of Polis alongside us," Robert Daussun, LBO France CEO.
