John Deere to acquire a majority stake in Kreisel Electric.

John Deere, a manufacturer of agricultural equipment, agreed to acquire a majority stake in Kreisel Electric, a designer and manufacturer of battery storage devices. Financial terms were not disclosed. The Austrian company manufactures high-density, high-durability electric battery modules and packs for high-performance and off-highway applications and has created a battery-buffered, high-powered charging infrastructure platform.
