Komax, a globally active technology group, agreed to acquire wire processing business unit of Metall Zug, a Swiss industrial holding company, $393m. The transaction will be carried out through a 'quasi-merger' in which Komax Holding will issue new shares in the course of a capital increase and allocate these to Metall Zug in exchange for the shares of wire processing business unit.
