Apax to acquire a majority stake in Ole Smoky Distillery from Centerview.

Apax, a funds manager, agreed to acquire a majority stake in Ole Smoky Distillery, an operator of a federally licensed distillery of premium moonshine, from Centerview. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Ole Smoky is a true pioneer in the spirits industry and the business continues to go from strength to strength, selling a record one million 9L cases in 2021.
