Azimut Investments led a $32m Series A funding round in Planet Farms, an operator of a vertical farming company. The new capital will be used to finance the development plans of the company, consolidating the results achieved so far and financing the further geographical expansion, in Italy and abroad, as well as making it possible to create a new center of research and development to explore new and further potentials of vertical farming in the food sector and increasingly efficient production techniques.
