Sharp completed the acquisition of Sakai Display Products.

Sharp, a Japanese multinational corporation that designs and manufactures electronic products, completed the acquisition of Sakai Display Products, which develops, manufactures, and markets liquid crystal displays, panels, and televisions. Financial terms were not disclosed. This transaction will aid in Sharp’s goal of expanding its global large size TV and professional display business to meet increasing global demand.
