Warburg Pincus, a US-based private equity firm, agreed to acquire a majority stake in the Indonesian insurance unit of Mapfre, a Spanish multinational insurance company, for $63m. The definitive close of this transaction will be executed according to the terms of the contract, which includes the approval of the corresponding authorities.
