SALTO to acquire COGNITEC Systems.

SALTO, a manufacturer of access control and locking systems, agreed to acquire COGNITEC Systems, a developer of face recognition technologies. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Working with Cognitec gives SALTO the opportunity to integrate emerging biometrics, face recognition, and artificial intelligence technologies into our Group products and platforms to create new solutions and services that benefit all of our clients,” Marc Handels, SALTO Systems Chief Technology Innovation Officer.
