Clearlake Capital, an investment firm, completed the acquisition of Discovery Education, a global edtech company whose digital learning software platform supports educators and improves student achievement, from Francisco Partners, a global investment firm that specializes in partnering with technology and technology-enabled businesses. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Discovery Education seeks to empower educators and inspire students worldwide through digital content delivered by our award-winning platform.
