Synopsis

ALDI, an international food retailer, REWE, a diversified retail and tourism co-operative group, Żabka, a company which operates, and franchises a network of convenience and deli-type stores, and Verizon, a corporate venture capital firm, led a $65m Series B round in AiFi, an arificial intelligence platform that enables retailers to affordably deploy and scale autonomous shopping solutions, with participation from Qualcomm Ventures, HP Tech Ventures, and Mithril Capital. "AiFi shares our passion for industry-leading innovation. Their technology - combined with the power of Verizon 5G and MEC - hold great possibilities for the future of retail.
