Battery Ventures, a venture capital firm, led a $50m funding round in Theta Lake, a developer of security and compliance software for collaboration apps, with participation from Cisco Investments, RingCentral Ventures, Zoom and Salesforce Ventures, Neotribe Ventures and Lightspeed Venture Partners. “Leveraging compliance and security to increase collaboration adoption is a compelling value proposition,” Kira Makagon, RingCentral Chief Innovation Officer.
