Livestock Transport and Trading to acquire MV Ocean Shearer from Wellard for $77m.

Livestock Transport and Trading, firm engaged in the production, transport, and trade of all kinds of meat, agreed to acquire MV Ocean Shearer, a livestock carrier, from Wellard, a firm that sources and distributes livestock and meat, for $77m. "The sale of the MV Ocean Shearer cuts Wellard's financial debt to very manageable levels while crystallising value from an under-utilised vessel in our fleet,"John Klepec, Wellard Executive Chairman.
