Norsk Hydro to acquire Alumetal for €232m.

Norsk Hydro, an aluminium and energy company, agreed to acquire Alumetal, a producer of casting aluminium alloys, for €232m. With the transaction, Hydro will strengthen its recycling position in Europe and widen its product offering in the low-carbon and scrap-based foundry alloy market.
