abrdn-backed Loimua to acquire Pilke Energia from Lahti Energia.

abrdn-backed Loimua, an operator of a district heating company, agreed to acquire Pilke Energia from Lahti Energia, an energy company which produces energy and offers energy product. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Koskinen's heat production, which will be transferred to Loimua, is a significant new customer for our industrial-scale energy services business. Renewable energy and its production serve the customer's needs and the companies' carbon neutrality goals in a great way. Loimua's experience in producing renewable energy supports new cooperation in meeting Koskinen's energy needs," Matti Tynjälä, Loimua CEO.
