Bain Capital to acquire a majority stake in EnterpriseDB from Great Hill Partners.

Bain Capital, an American private investment firm, agreed to acquire a majority stake in EnterpriseDB, a provider of enterprise-class software and services, from Great Hill Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Postgres is increasingly the database of choice for enterprises. We are excited to work closely with EDB’s talented leadership team, in partnership with Great Hill, to accelerate the company’s growth," Max de Groen, Bain Capital Managing Director.
