Bain Capital, an American private investment firm, agreed to acquire a majority stake in EnterpriseDB, a provider of enterprise-class software and services, from Great Hill Partners, a Boston-based private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Postgres is increasingly the database of choice for enterprises.
