Eneva to acquire Termofortaleza from Enel for $85m.

Eneva, an integrated energy company, agreed to acquire Termofortaleza, a gas-fired thermoelectric generation plant, from Enel, an integrated electricity and gas distributions company, for $85m. “Always with the premises of capital discipline and the best allocation of resources, we have expanded the range of new businesses and increasingly consolidated ourselves as one of the largest private energy suppliers and as an important agenda in the Brazilian energy transition, as well as an actor relevant for energy security,” Pedro Zinner, Eneva CEO.
