Uranium Energy to acquire UEX for c. $210m.

Uranium Energy, a uranium mining company, agreed to acquire UEX, a US-based uranium mining and exploration company, for c. $210m. "This transaction with UEC reflects the efforts of the UEX team to create value through building an attractive strategic portfolio of assets and ultimately delivers a great outcome for UEX shareholders and complements our recent acquisition of JCU (Canada) Exploration Company," Roger Lemaitre, UEX President and CEO. Denison Mines was outbid in trying to acquire UEX.
