A group of investors, including Investissement Québec, Inovia Capital, Canadian Business Growth Fund, Export Development Canada and WIND Ventures led a Series C round in Busbud, a bus travel booking website. Founded by LP Maurice, Michael Gradek and Frédéric Thouin, Montreal based Busbud is an online marketplace that enables global travellers to book intercity bus tickets on over 3m bus routes worldwide. Available in 17 languages, the company’s convenient and secure booking website and app offer the ability to search, compare and buy tickets from over 3.9k bus companies in 16k cities across 80+ countries, supporting transactions in 30 currencies.
