BW Energy, a growth-focused oil and gas company, agreed to acquire FPSO Cidade de Vitoria, a floating production storage and offloading unit, from Saipem, an Italian multinational oilfield services company, for $73m. “Establishing a solid working relationship with Brazilian authorities and other stakeholders is key to a successful Maromba development. Having two operating assets in Brazil will create several synergies and make us an attractive local employer,” Carl K. Arnet, BW Energy CEO.
