Forerunner Ventures, a venture capital firm, led a $56m Series B round in Balance Payments, a marketplace and eCommerce payments provider, with participation from Salesforce Ventures, Hubspot Ventures, Lyra Ventures, Gramercy Ventures, Jeff Wisener, Marcelo Cortes, Ribbit Capital, Lightspeed Ventures, Avid Ventures, Upwest, and Jibe. “From my time at PayPal, I realized no one was tapping into the opportunity to unlock the potential of B2B eCommerce and marketplaces payments.
