Shenzhen Capital Group, a limited venture capital company, led a $148m Series B funding round in Origin Quantum, a full-stack quantum computing company, with participation from CITIC Securities and China International Capital, as well as Bank of China Group Investment. As a new technology, quantum computing is expected to ultimately speed up the computational power that drives many industries and could affect everything from drug discovery to how data is secured.
