Aksìa Group to acquire Gommatex Spalmati.

Aksìa Group, a private equity firm, agreed to acquire Gommatex Spalmati, a producer of sustainable and customizable coagulated and coated fabrics for the main brands of fashion and luxury. Financial terms were not disclosed. "We are very happy to invest in a new sector for us, that of High End Luxury, with a company like Gommatex that represents a unique international, historical partner of leading luxury brands. The strong innovative capacity and the orientation towards sustainability, both in processes and products, were the drivers of the investment that provides for a growth plan on domestic and foreign markets through a buy-and-build strategy aimed at creating an aggregative pole of the supply chain," Sara Perillo, Aksìa Group Partner.
