JX Nippon Mining & Metals completed the acquisition of eCycle Solutions from Horizon Recycling.

JX Nippon Mining & Metals, a supplier of consumable electronic materials, completed the acquisition of eCycle Solutions, an IT recycling firm, from Horizon Recycling, a waste management services provider. Financial terms were not disclosed. The transaction will enable JX to collect and process more recyclable materials, in support of its sustainable global economic development mission. The acquisition will also help to ensure procurement of recycled materials in North America over the long-term for JX, and allows JX to support the circular economy and strengthen relationships with manufacturers of electronic devices in utilizing recycled materials.
