Taro Plast to acquire the TPC business of Celanese.

Taro Plast, a company for the production of plastic compounds, agreed to acquire the thermoplastic co-polyester business of Celanese, a producer of acetic acid and its downstream derivative chemicals. Financial terms were not disclosed The closing of the transaction is expected by the end of this year, once the information and consultation procedures with the trade unions have been completed and subject to the approval of the antitrust authorities.
