Atlas Copco to acquire Montana Instruments Corporation.

Atlas Copco, a Swedish multinational industrial company, agreed to acquire Montana Instruments Corporation, a scientific equipment supplier. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The acquisition will allow us to further extend our existing presence in the cryogenic markets and with our R&D customers. It also provides an additional channel into quantum technology related markets where commercial applications are starting to grow,” Geert Follens, Atlas Copco Senior Executive Vice President.
