Hapag-Lloyd completed the acquisition of a 49% stake in Spinelli Group from ICON Infrastructure.

Hapag-Lloyd, a shipping and container transportation company, completed the acquisition of a 49% stake in Spinelli Group, a logistics and shipping company from ICON Infrastructure, a private equity firm. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We see it as a complementary service from our side and together we have the common interest to have a really good product ready for our customers. Investments in strategic assets along the supply chain are a key part of Hapag-Lloyd’s Strategy 2023," Juan Pablo Richards, Hapag-Lloyd Senior Managing Director.
