Plenitude completed the acquisition of a 65% stake in Hergo Renewables from Infrastrutture.

Plenitude, an Italian energy company, completed the acquisition of a 65% stake in Hergo Renewables, a company that has a portfolio of photovoltaic and wind projects in Italy and Spain with a capacity of 1.5k megawatts, from Infrastrutture, an independent power producer. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The synergies with Plenitude will enhance our know-how, as well as the portfolio of projects that we have built up in Italy and Spain over our 30 years of experience in the sector, and which we plan to expand further. We are happy to consolidate our contribution to the deployment of quality renewable projects, an effective measure in the fight against climate change and a sustainable supply diversification tool,” Pier Francesco Rimbotti, Infrastrutture CEO.
