Arthur J. Gallagher to acquire M&T Insurance Agency from M&T Bank.

Arthur J. Gallagher, a global insurance brokerage, risk management and consulting services firm, agreed to acquire M&T Insurance Agency, a retail insurance agency, from M&T Bank, a financial holding company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "M&T Insurance Agency has a long record of client-focused offerings and expertise, and this will help us expand our footprint in the New York region.
