Brown-Forman completed the acquisition of Diplomático from Destillers United Group.

Brown-Forman, a spirits and wine company, completed the acquisition of Diplomático, a super premium rum, from Destillers United Group, a distillers company. Financial terms were not disclosed. "Ron Diplomático will join our expanding super-premium portfolio, giving Brown-Forman a high-quality entry into the fast-growing super-premium rum category. This aged rum brand features premium shelf pricing, distinctive packaging, strong brand positioning and is a delicious tasting spirit. As part of this acquisition, we will welcome more than 100 new associates to Brown-Forman," Lawson Whiting, Brown-Forman president and CEO.
