Hellman & Friedman-backed Cordis, a firm engaged in the development and manufacturing of interventional cardiovascular and endovascular technologies, completed the acquisition of MedAlliance, a Swiss-based medical technology company, for $1.14bn. "The Cordis acquisition will accelerate access to this breakthrough technology for patients around the globe suffering from coronary and peripheral disease.
