Insight Partners, an American venture capital and private equity firm based in New York City, led a $20m Series A round in Fermyon Cloud, a cloud computing firm, with participation from previous investors Amplify Partners, Tyler McMullen, Grant Miller and Marc Campbell. “WebAssembly is a ‘build once, run anywhere’ technology designed to enable apps to run inside the browser that is now being applied to solving cloud problems where speed and security are paramount.
