Warburg Pincus, a global private equity firm, and Malabar Investments, an India-focused investment firm, completed a $60m investment in boAt, a consumer electronics startup. This fresh investment will enable the company to scale up its business across channels and geographies, further strengthen its category leadership within audio, enhance its R&D and design capabilities, and support building a local manufacturing ecosystem, the company said in a press release.
