DKSH to acquire Myonal and Merislon from Eisai.

DKSH, a Swiss holding company specialising in market expansion services, agreed to acquire two pharma brands Myonal and Merislon from Eisai, a global research and development-based pharmaceutical company. Financial terms were not disclosed. With the acquisition, DKSH continues its strategy to expand its Healthcare Own Brands portfolio and to grow in Asia Pacific. DKSH already markets these products for Eisai in most of the nine Asian markets and with the acquisition now becomes full brand owner. DKSH will continue to outsource production to established manufacturers for this portfolio.
