ALDI Nord, a privately-owned company that owns and operates discount supermarket stores across Europe, completed the acquisition of Altmühltaler Mineralbrunnen, a manufacturer and bottler of mineral water and non-alcoholic soft drinks in Germany. Financial terms were not disclosed. “The Altmühltaler Mineralbrunnen Group has been one of our most important suppliers of mineral water and soft drinks for many years. Accordingly, the offer of the family-run company convinced us in an overall tight market," Jürgen Schwall, ALDI North Chief Purchasing Officer.
