Synopsis
Regional Rail, a company operating short-line railroads in Delaware, New York, and Pennsylvania, agreed to acquire Great Sandhills Railway, a Canadian short-line railway company that operates 198 kilometers of track west of Swift Current, Saskatchewan in the provinces of Saskatchewan and Alberta. Financial terms were not disclosed. “We appreciate the support G3 Canada has provided over the past several years and are excited to join the Regional Rail family of shortline railroads,” Perry Pellerin, Great Sandhills Railway CEO.
