Swegon, a company which develops, manufactures and markets products and solutions in the field of indoor environment, completed the acquisition of Samp, a modular air handling unit manufacturer. Financial terms were not disclosed. “Samp is a highly regarded manufacturer of AHUs, well-known for their high product quality. We see a growing demand for specialised air handling solutions and Samp is a perfect fit for growing our business with modular AHUs. The acquisition of Samp does not only significantly strengthen our position in the Italian market, but it also provides us with a solid manufacturing base of modular AHUs for southern Europe,” Andreas Örje Wellstam, Swegon CEO.
