OptiGroup, a European business-to-business distributor of business essentials, terminated the deal to acquire Pamark, a full-service distributor of facility supplies, horeca and medical supplies. Financial terms were not disclosed. After a full phase 2 investigation to the proposed transaction, the Finnish Competition and Consumer Authority has concluded that the acquisition will raise competition concerns in the market for cleaning and hygiene products especially to larger customers in Finland.
