Startup Venture Capital, a venture capital firm, led a $27m Series B round in Speak, a South Korean startup that uses artificial intelligence to help people learn English, with participation from Lachy Groom, Josh Buckley, Justin Mateen, Gokul Rajaram, and Founders Fund. The company intends to use the funds to accelerate development of new conversational language experiences through generative AI, faster expansion to new regions and languages, and hiring to support these goals.
